PAOLO LORASCHI
Maître Créateur.
Paolo Loraschi has worked as a pastry chef in France and Italy as well as Switzerland. He has headed pastry production at Confiserie Al Porto in Locarno Switzerland since 1996. In 2012 the confiserie Al Porto won the first prize as Best of Swiss Gastro and became part of the SelectionChocolatiers. Paolo has extensive competition experience.
He has competed internationally at the Coupe du Monde in Lyon, took gold medals at the Truff d'Or in Lausanne and the Grand Priz Sicao, silver medals at the Chocolate Internatzinonale in Perugia and the UIPCG World Pastry Championship in Stuttgart. Loraschi was a member of Team Switzerland for the inaugural World Pastry Team Championship in Las Vegas in 2002. For several years he has been a member of the jury at the World Chocolate Masters and FBK.
