FRANCESCO FAVORITO
The Art of Gluten Free.
Francesco Favorito was born in Terni August 15, 1967. After working in his family's pastry shop, since the age of 15, in 1983 he participated in the competition at the fair of Rimini Sigep, gaining the second position in the junior category. In 1995 Francesco Favorito begins to bring outside the city walls his experience and his passion for the world of leavened pastries, traveling in Italy and abroad, as a consultant and demonstrator.
In 1998 he became a consultant for a renowned multinational confectionery and bakery and at the same time decided to realize his dream: to open his own pastry shop and bakery in San Gemini, a few kilometers from Terni. In 2003 he joined as a Lecturer Pastry Institute Hotelier "A. Casagrande "in Terni transmitting his passion to young people. In the same year he became artistic director of the famous show "Cioccolentino" which takes place on the anniversary of the patron saint of Terni: Valentine's Day.
For years Chef Favorito has been dealing with food allergies specializing in gluten free and since 2007 he teaches in the most prestigious Italian and international pastry schools the art of Italian confectionery.
